The Community Assistance, Recovery and Empowerment (CARE) Court program was recently launched on October 1, 2023.  The CARE Court program creates a new pathway to deliver mental health and substance abuse services to individuals who are diagnosed with schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders and not engaged in treatment.  The CARE Court program now provides another option for persons who meet the criteria for CARE Court, in addition to traditional probate conservatorships and LPS conservatorships.  Our speakers are San Diego’s CARE Court judge, Hon. Paula Rosenstein, and attorney Merrianne Dean of Bellator Law Group, APC.
