This is an all-day, in-person CLE event focusing on current and important topics for Probate Practitioners. Topics include presentations on court-appointment attorney assignments; tips on CAA reports; supported decision-making agreements; recent developments applicable to court-appointed matters; the intersection of probate and LPS laws for conservatorships of the person; tips for dealing with proposed conservatees who are isolated; changes in Medi-Cal benefits coverage and related regulations; and ethics in probate and court-appointed matters. We have an extensive panel of speakers lined up, including all four of our San Diego Probate Court judges as well as the newest appointee to the probate bench: Hon. Judge Olga Alvarez, Hon. Judge John Scherling, Hon. Judge Daniel Belsky, Hon. Judge Robert Frazier and Hon. Judge Nadia J. Keilani. This event is a great way for probate attorneys in California, and more specifically the San Diego probate community, to receive essential training.
